Did you know there are more than 20 whale and dolphin species visiting the Madeira sea?

And did you know that if you go Whale and Dolphin Watching with us, you can even swim with dolphins?

Whale & Dolphin Watching Trip

Our whale and Dolphin Watching program me starts with a short briefing at our headquarters. There, our marine biologist will let you know what the trip will consist of and what cetacean species we’re planning to see on that particular day.

Then we head to the Marina, where adventure truly begins!

To guarantee you see cetaceans, we have a team of observers on shore searching the sea to find where the best observation spots are at any given time. Then, they send us the coordinates directly to the boat, so we don’t have to wander about.

Also, to give you the best experience possible at the sea, our marine biologist will be there throughout the entire journey, making sure you have all the information and context during our trip.

Swimming with Dolphins Optional

If you wish – and if they’re in the mood for company… – it is also possible to swim among the dolphins. Trust us on this one: That’s an experience you’ll never forget!

The vibrant nature of the island and its surrounding ocean are home to luxuriant wild life, both on land and on the sea – that’s why we offer a combined a Jeep + Catamaran Safari Tour. We start by driving through some of the prettiest villages and mountain roads in Madeira, and then board the Catamaran to a captivating tour of the southern coast where you’ll discover new points of view to the (far hand high) places we previously visited.

While on board, we’ll also have the opportunity to meet our Cetaceans friends: from dolphins to whales and everything in between!

Funchal – Ribeiro Frio – Guindaste – Porto da Cruz – Portela – Caniçal.

Join us with the ultimate Combo Expedition by combining a Land Rover tour with a Levada walk. You will experience Madeira ‘s wilderness by Land Rover and foot by entering the Laurisilva forest in the centre of Madeira . And then later one you can join the farmers by walking a special levada along the fields of sugar cane and other different crops. This combination will give you a detailed opportunity to “Taste” what Madeira has to offer.

Valleys, mountains, plateau and the seashore make this expedition to the sometimes forgotten Southwest side of the island a trip to remember. The diversity of this excursion is amazing. Visit Ponta do Pargo, the most western point of Madeira and the after lunch we stroll along the seaside esplanade of the hidden fishing villages.

Canyoning in Madeira

Canyoning at Ribeira das Cales (Summer programme)

This canyon starts in Chão da Lagoa at approximately 1500 meters of altitude. Along the route we find 4 rappels, the biggest with about 15 meters high. To overcome every obstacle of nature we’ll rappel, swim, and jump in fantastic lakes. And by the end of the route we’ll have a fantastic surprise for you!

Canyoning at Ribeiro Frio (Winter programme)

Ribeiro Frio offers some of the best conditions for Canyoning in Madeira. With 6 rappels along the way, the deepest of which with about 20 meters, the Ribeiro Frio canyon is located in a breathtaking landscape in the heart of the Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO world heritage site.
